Position Summary

We are looking for a motivated, results-driven Sales Representative to build and maintain client relationships, drive revenue growth, and help shape Kontur’s marketing and sales strategies. In this pivotal role, your fluency in both English and Russian—and your passion for geographic information systems (GIS)—will be essential for success.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Generation: Identify and generate leads using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other tools. Craft compelling cold outreach messages.
  • Inbound Queries: Respond to incoming inquiries via Intercom.
  • Lead Management: Utilize Fibery to track and update deal statuses, ensuring all relevant documents and contact details are maintained.
  • Client Engagement: Conduct interviews with potential clients to identify their needs and pain points.
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver tailored presentations, proposals, contracts, and Scope of Work documents.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively to achieve sales targets.
  • Invoicing & Payments: Issue invoices, manage outstanding payments, and handle client debts.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product and technical teams to stay up-to-date on the latest product features and offerings. Participate in sales strategy development and contribute to overall marketing initiatives.
  • Reporting: Provide regular sales activity updates, including lead status, forecasting, and strategic insights. Gather market intelligence on competitor activities and potential new product opportunities.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven track record as a Sales Representative or in a similar sales role.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
  • Languages: Fluency in Russian and English (spoken and written).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, including presentation skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Fibery), LinkedIn, and digital marketing platforms.
  • GIS Knowledge: Basic understanding of geographic information systems (GIS) concepts.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong time management and ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced GIS Knowledge: In-depth understanding of GIS products and technologies.
  • Industry Experience: Experience working with government, non-governmental, and humanitarian organizations.
  • Additional Languages: Spanish, Polish, Arabic or others are a plus.
  • Paperwork Proficiency: Understanding of contract, SoW, and proposal writing.
